Spinach Cherry Smoothie

As the days inched closer to our wedding day I definitely started watching what I ate closely. After all, when your wedding dress is ready, little inches become a big deal! Gain a few more and you’re in trouble! When you’re engaged, it’s amazing how articles about what to eat to look and feel your best on your wedding day JUST FIND YOU. So naturally, I was very inspired when I blended up this smoothie and was so surprised at how well it turned out. This spinach cherry smoothie with a twist tasted healthy but in a yummy kind of way. The sweetness from the cherries added depth to the refreshing taste of cucumber and spinach. The banana gave the smoothie a nice consistency and the chia seeds made it a light, yet filling breakfast.

Spinach Cherry Smoothie

Servings: 16oz

Ingredients:

1 cup milk

2 handfuls of spinach

1 cup dark cherries, frozen

1 banana

1 tablespoon chia seeds

½ cucumber

 

Directions:

Blend until totally smooth. Divide equally and serve. Enjoy!
