So naturally, I was very inspired when I blended up this smoothie and was so surprised at how well it turned out. This spinach cherry smoothie with a twist tasted healthy but in a yummy kind of way. The sweetness from the cherries added depth to the refreshing taste of cucumber and spinach. The banana gave the smoothie a nice consistency and the chia seeds made it a light, yet filling breakfast.
Spinach Cherry Smoothie
Servings: 16oz
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
2 handfuls of spinach
1 cup dark cherries, frozen
1 banana
1 tablespoon chia seeds
½ cucumber
Directions:
Blend until totally smooth. Divide equally and serve. Enjoy!
