How many of you love to be pampered? Yeah, I thought so! Not even kidding – there are probably ten salons within walking distance from my home in Coral Gables. With that being said, I was really excited that Cherry Blow Dry Bar was one of them. I was even MORE excited when I was invited to their Blow Dry Fiesta! Tacos and a blow dry? Sign me up! I was able to sip sangria, eat lots of tacos, and munch away at chips and guac while I got the royal treatment.
I must say, this salon is gorgeous. It’s clean, modern, and super glam.

Once I had a seat, I was given a lookbook that displays a variety of styles that are available at the salon. It was really helpful to just point to a photo of what I wanted my hair to look like rather than having to explain what I wanted (which I’m not the best at doing). I like for my hair to have a bit of movement, so I chose the style Wondrous Waves.
The basics of a great blow out start with a really good wash. It’s best for my hair type to start with a clarifying shampoo and follow it with a volumizing one.
It’s so relaxing for me when I go to a salon to get my hair washed. The chairs are comfy, their products smell amazing, and the overall experience was very relaxing in general. Properly blowing out your hair smooths out your strands and keeps split ends at bay – but it can be tiring. When I wash my own hair at home, it’s usually in a rush and I have to mentally prepare myself to dry it.
They offer a variety of memberships at multiple price points making it easy for you to choose one that works best for you. It’s also really nice that any blow outs you aren’t able to use in a month’s time can be rolled over and go towards your next month. The beauty of their pricing structure is that prices won’t change depending on the length of your hair.

It’s conveniently and centrally located right on Miracle Mile. The salon will open as early as 7 AM, as long as you let them know ahead of time, ensuring you’ll never have to sacrifice getting a blow out on the days you have an early morning meeting.
