Dear Mom

I know Mother’s Day has already passed but I think mom’s should always be celebrated! I wanted to shed some much deserved spotlight on the person I admire most, my beautiful mom! She radiates a confidence and happiness that I have always tried to emulate. She owns her strengths and has a sense of humor for her weaknesses. She can pull anything off on her own but is never shy to ask for help when she needs it. It is because of her that I am the person that I am today. She’s my biggest fan and my toughest critic – because she loves me. Unconditionally. Ever since I was little I’ve always admired how she holds everything together – our home, our family, herself. It’s incredible how she always manages to put the needs of others before her own while keeping true to herself and her style. She’s always thinking of my sister and I, constantly motivating us to be the best version of ourselves.

The best part about my mom is that she leads by example. I’ve inherited my best qualities from my mother and now that I am a married woman, I realize it more every day. I’ve picked up her style, her hospitality, her generosity, and best of all – her sensitivity. I’d like to think that I have a big heart, but my heart has so much more growing to do in comparison to hers. I look forward to the years to come when she’ll continue teach me so many things I still don’t know. Me and my sister are so lucky to have so many unforgettable memories and experiences and it’s undoubtedly because of the sacrifices my mom has made for us.

Mom, thank you for always being there for me. For always listening and supporting me and for being such an amazing example. It is because of you that I am the person that I am today. Thank you for everything you’ve always done for me. Thank you for the things I noticed and all the things I didn’t. I love you!
